In the footsteps of his father, painter in Montmartre (Paris), it is naturally that the Artist Jean-Pierre Frey began to draw very young.
Enrolled in evening classes at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris, the Artist Jean-Pierre Frey develops fundamentals. He is simultaneously passionate about sailing and takes advantage of it every winter to discover new horizons.
His artistic career began in 1991 when he was selected by the Europ’Art committee in Geneva. His exhibition presents mainly figurative pieces. He becomes one of the five best-selling painters in France.
In 1997, he met his wife Caroline and it was in 2014 that both arrived in Polynesia. Under the charm of the local population, they are also bewitched by the beauty of the landscapes. He finds a new impetus of inspiration through the colors of the lagoon, the beauty of the valleys and the reliefs which make him want to paint again. In 2016, they are ready to open their brand new Atelier / Gallery “Bora Bora Artist Studio”. Located in Vaitape on the edge of the lagoon of Bora Bora, it is the ideal place for art lovers.
